1956 Tokai Henshoku K.K. established with investment from Kakiuchi Shoji K.K. (the present Kakiuchi K.K.) and Matsuya Orimono in Hon-cho, Nihombashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo as a specialized manufacturer of insect netting. Tokyo office established as headquarters at the same time.

1956 Hamamatsu Plant established in the city of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Manufacture and sale of insect netting made of vinylidene chloride commences.

Manufacture and sale of insect netting made of vinyl chloride commences.

Osaka office established in Higashi-ku, Osaka.

The company enters the field of agricultural materials as the manufacture of netting to protect against wind, moths, frost, and sunlight gets underway.

Fukuoka office established in Tenjin in the city of Fukuoka.

Tozai Kasei K.K. established in the city of Okayama to manufacture polyethylene monofilament.

Mitsubishi Kasei K.K. (the present Mitsubishi Kagaku K.K.) invests capital in the company.

Polyethylene tape yarn manufacturing facility built at Fukuroi Plant. Production of tape yarn commences.

Thread manufacturing facilities sold to Tozai Kasei K.K., control of production of tape yarn transferred.
